Markham Fellowship: "Paraiso" GK Film Screening

"Paraiso" means "paradise" or "utopia" in filipino... If you wanted to know. Tee hee.

Who: Anybody! and Everybody!
What: A YFC event in support of the GK Program for those of you who don't know what GK (Gawad Kalinga) is, it is an organization similar to Habitat for Humanities. We raise money to build houses for the poor in Southeast Asia (Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia etc.).
When: Saturday, September 29th, 2007 (3-4PM Talent Show, 4PM-7PM Movie Screening)
Where: University of Toronto (Downtown - Innis College, 2 Sussex Ave. Toronto, ON M5S 1J5)
Cost: $10.00 - all profits go to Gawad Kalinga.

hey everyone! So this week is GK WALK, our annual fundraiser for GK, and its kinda like a walkathon of some sort. below are the details...we are asking for a $10 donation for GK! for those of you who don't know what GK (Gawad Kalinga) is, it is an organization similar to Habitat for Humanities. We raise money to build houses for the poor in Southeast Asia (Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia etc.). So if you're coming, a donation is MANDATORY Even if it's just 1 cent. everything counts! So yes, here are the details...!
